Chromatic confocal displacement sensors measure wafer thickness in an opposed-sensor configuration. The upper and lower sensors acquire data simultaneously, enabling fast, non-contact wafer thickness measurement that meets the high-accuracy inspection requirements of semiconductor processes.
A chromatic confocal displacement sensor scans the chip-mounting area without contact and collects height data at multiple points. The system calculates surface height differences and warpage, enabling efficient 100% inspection of chip-mounting flatness.
