Artificial joint polishing surface roughness and morphology detection

Implants such as artificial hip joints and knee joints have extremely high requirements on surface roughness, and small defects may lead to increased wear or postoperative complications. Contact roughness meters have the risk of scratching and are difficult to use for finished product inspection.

LightE uses chromatic confocal measurement technology to conduct non-contact morphology and roughness assessment of key contact areas of artificial joints. Through high longitudinal resolution, sub-micron morphology reconstruction is achieved, providing data basis for polishing process optimization and quality release.
